The Story
For half of the eponymous centerpiece of our Aura and Endurance release, we selected the wunderkind and celebrated Taiwanese ceramicist, Sheng Zhi Wu. With a rustic, verdigris-like finish, Sheng Zhi Wu's impeccable forms and innovative, natural pigmentation have to be held to be believed. Sheng Zhi Wu learned ceramics along with calligraphy and painting at a young age, combining the interdisciplinary studies of painting and sculpture as well. His amazing trajectory has been the product of discipline, study-honed talent, and fortuitous circumstance.
